These The Crafty Nomad Affiliate Scheme Terms & Conditions govern your participation in the Crafty Nomad Affiliate Scheme and are an agreement between The Crafty Nomad and you or the entity you represent. This Agreement takes effect when you are accepted into the Scheme. If you are not accepted into the Scheme, then this Agreement does not come into effect. The Crafty Nomad Website that these terms apply include sewingschool.thecraftynomad.co.uk That means they do not apply to products on the main The Crafty Nomad website (www.thecraftynomad.co.uk) such as patterns and enamel pins etc. It only applies to products listed on the sewingschool.thecraftynomad.co.uk site such as online courses, boms and classes.
You will be invited to join the scheme by The Crafty Nomad. Should you choose to accept, you will be asked for your full name and email address. You will be provided with a log in to the site. You will need to log in and change the password and update your payment information.
Upon acceptance into the Affiliate Scheme, You will be assigned one or more unique Affiliate URLs, which You will use to promote The Crafty Nomad Online Sewing School. When someone (a "Prospect") clicks through that URL, a cookie (or similar tracking technology (hereinafter "Cookie")) will be set in the Prospect's browser. When the Prospect creates an account in The Crafty Nomad Sewing School by using your Affiliate URL, the Cookie on the Prospect’s browser, corresponding to your unique URL, registers a "Sale," In the event that a Prospect has multiple Affiliate Cookies, the most recently-acquired Cookie will determine which Affiliate is credited with a Sale. You will be paid a commission for each Account that generates a payment to The Crafty Nomad. The Commission amount is 10% of all fees (after deducting any VAT and payment gateway fees where applicable) received by The Crafty Nomad. Commission payments will be made to you on or before sixty (60) days following receipt of payment, subject to the other terms set forth herein.
Cookies: Cookies are valid for 30 days.
Minimum Payments: Your commission amount must equal or exceed twenty (£20) before you receive a payment from The Crafty Nomad. If your commissions for a given month are less than £20, your commissions will be held until your combined commissions equals or exceeds £20.
Commissions are paid only for transactions that actually occur between The Crafty Nomad and the prospect. If the transaction does not actually occur, or if payment from a prospect is not actually received by The Crafty Nomad, you will not paid a Commission on the transaction. If payment later results in a refund or charge-back, and if a commission was paid to you for that referral payment, then the commission will be deducted from your future commissions. If The Crafty Nomad determines, in its reasonable discretion, that any Sale was procured fraudulently or as a result of any violation of this Agreement, no Commission will be paid for such a Sale. If any Commissions are paid for a Sale that was produced fraudulently or as a result of any violation of this Agreement, and the fraud or violation is discovered by The Crafty Nomad after payment, such payment amounts shall be deducted from your future commissions.
Taxes: You are responsible for any and all tax liabilities, including without limitation income tax liabilities that arise from or in any way relate to any commissions you receive from The Crafty Nomad.
Be Truthful: Anything You communicate in the marketing or advertising of any The Crafty Nomad product must be true and accurate. Claims that relate to any The Crafty Nomad product that are untrue or fraudulent are strictly prohibited. You may not use another person's intellectual property when advertising or promoting any The Crafty Nomad product. You may not create websites or advertisements that copy, imitate, or resemble the look and feel of the The Crafty Nomad products or website. You may not engage in any marketing activity that may harm the reputation or credibility of The Crafty Nomad, including using low-quality marketing materials. You must not advertise or promote The Crafty Nomad on any site that promotes violence, discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age, or any illegal activities, or violates the intellectual property or rights of a third party. You shall not send any email in violation of the federal CAN-SPAM rules or GDPR. You must include a physical mailing address and unsubscribe information for any marketing email sent promoting The Crafty Nomad products. You shall not use malware or spyware to market or promote The Crafty Nomad products.
You must include full disclosure of your participation in the scheme in any advertising or promotion of The Crafty Nomad products: We are a participant in The Crafty Nomad Affiliate Scheme. We earn affiliate commissions when you purchase through our URL/Link. All views expressed here are our own and are not official statements of The Crafty Nomad.
Non-Disparagement: You are not permitted to disparage the products or services of any other person or entity, including without limitation the products or services of a competitor of The Crafty Nomad, any other customer or partner of The Crafty Nomad, or The Crafty Nomad itself.
Self Referrals & Abuse: Self referrals are not allowed. The Affiliate scheme is for you to refer others - you cannot refer yourselves. You will not be paid any Commission for payments made on your own User Account(s). You are not permitted to open a The Crafty Nomad account under the name of another person or entity, or under a fictitious name. You are not permitted to open a The Crafty Nomad account under any name merely for the purpose of obtaining Commission. You may not pay for another person’s account. You are not permitted to offer cash discounts or other monetary incentives to get actual or potential Sales. Violation of this clause shall constitute a material breach of this Agreement, and You agree to repay to The Crafty Nomad all Commission earned as a result of any such violation. Abuse or gaming will result in the account being suspended.
The Crafty Nomad has the right to terminate this Agreement at any time if you violate any of the terms. The Crafty Nomad also has the right to terminate this agreement if they choose to no longer offer an Affiliate Scheme. You would be notified in either case.
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless The Crafty Nomad, its officers, directors, employees, owner’s and assigns from and against all claims, demands, and causes of action of every kind and character without limit arising out of your conduct, acts or omissions. Your indemnity obligation includes, but is not limited to, any third party claim against The Crafty Nomad for liability for payments for, damages caused by, or other liability relating to you.
