This class is lead by Monika Henry from Penny Spool Quilts. A Fridge Cleanout Quilt is a slightly tongue-in-cheek name for a quilt project made with leftovers from another quilt, just like those dinners when you need to use up the leftovers in the fridge!
A Fridge Cleanout Quilt is different from a regular scrap quilt in that it uses the leftovers from one, or maybe two quilts for a smaller, improvised project. The number and sizes of leftovers you have determines what you can make with it, and there isn’t a set pattern to follow. A Fridge Cleanout Quilt means having fun playing with fabrics and seeing what you can come up with.

I've been teaching sewing, patchwork & quilting for over 10 years and I'm excited to help you.
I have absolutely LOVED helping every single one of my customers develop and improve their sewing, patchwork & quilting skills. It's truly rewarding to see students progress and have 'lightbulb moments'.
I love teaching, breaking topics down into bite-sized chunks and making it achievable for all! Since moving most of my teaching online it's been eye opening to realise that most people learn better this way: working at their own pace and having more time to practise; but still getting time with the teacher to ask questions.
