Fabulous Facing - Class Content

Have you ever wanted to try facing your quilt instead of binding it? In this class I'll be introducing you to adding a facing to your quilts instead of binding them the traditional way. Instead of creating a frame around the outside of a quilt as binding does, facing wraps to the back of a quilt creating a lovely clean modern look to a quilt and is particularly great for art work and wall hangings.

In this class you will learn two different ways to add facing: regular; and mitred.

You can check out the full contents of the class below.

Course Curriculum

I've been teaching sewing, patchwork & quilting for over 10 years and I'm excited to help you.

I have absolutely LOVED helping every single one of my customers develop and improve their sewing, patchwork & quilting skills.  It's truly rewarding to see students progress and have 'lightbulb moments'.

I love teaching, breaking topics down into bite-sized chunks and making it achievable for all!  Since moving most of my teaching online it's been eye opening to realise that most people learn better this way: working at their own pace and having more time to practise; but still getting time with the teacher to ask questions.

Something new for me!

I didn't have a clue how to finish a project by facing. With Jo's excellent step-by-step explanation and video, I'm ready to tackle it! And the great thing is, is that I can repeat this course to follow along as I do it, not just reading the worksheet. Thank you Jo!

Another string to my bow!

Thank you, Jo, for showing the two ways of creating facings. As always, your step-by-step teaching and demo makes it very easy to follow, Although I've done facings before, I've not tried mitred facing and will certainly have a go.
