Raw Edge Applique - Class Content

Have you seen lots of lovely applique patterns but have no idea how to actually do that technique? Maybe you've had a go but got in a muddle with Bondaweb and ended up in a sticky mess! Or selected a stitch but ended up getting puckers and your project looked ugly! Would you love to know about the different stitches you can use?

In this class you will learn:

  • how to use fusible web, to make and secure the shapes
  • about different stitch patterns

Course Curriculum

I've been teaching sewing, patchwork & quilting for over 10 years and I'm excited to help you.  

I have absolutely LOVED helping every single one of my customers develop and improve their sewing, patchwork & quilting skills.  It's truly rewarding to see students progress and have 'lightbulb moments'.

I love teaching, breaking topics down into bite-sized chunks and making it achievable for all!  Since moving most of my teaching online it's been eye opening to realise that most people learn better this way: working at their own pace and having more time to practise; but still getting time with the teacher to ask questions.

Appliqué made easy

This tutorial is very well organized and clear. I am not a big fan of appliqué but I’m going to try a simple project soon.
