Scrapbusting - Class Content

Is your stash out of control? Do you want help organising and using it? Then check out this Quilt Hive class all about encouraging use of scraps. We'll be talking about Scrap-busting and tackling the Scrappy Quilt As You Go (QAYG) Technique. The workbook will include plenty of information and ideas and tips, and I'll demonstate a couple of projects that you might like to join in with! 

In this class you will learn:

  • New ideas for how to sort, store and use your fabric scraps
  • How to use your fabric scraps to make quilt as you go projects
  • How to make a scrappy mini quilt 
  • How to make a cut circular basket with your fabric scraps

Course Curriculum

I've been teaching sewing, patchwork & quilting for over 10 years and I'm excited to help you.  

I have absolutely LOVED helping every single one of my customers develop and improve their sewing, patchwork & quilting skills.  It's truly rewarding to see students progress and have 'lightbulb moments'.

I love teaching, breaking topics down into bite-sized chunks and making it achievable for all!  Since moving most of my teaching online it's been eye opening to realise that most people learn better this way: working at their own pace and having more time to practise; but still getting time with the teacher to ask questions.
