Sew Smart: The Ergonomics of Healthy Quilting - Class Content

In this class, expert Rose Rennick-Parr will give you all the knowledge you'll need to optimise your sewing space for healthy quilting. Say goodbye to aches and pains from poor posture. Rose will give you tips on how to arrange your sewing space with particular focus on:

Course Curriculum

I've been teaching sewing, patchwork & quilting for over 10 years and I'm excited to help you.  

I have absolutely LOVED helping every single one of my customers develop and improve their sewing, patchwork & quilting skills.  It's truly rewarding to see students progress and have 'lightbulb moments'.

I love teaching, breaking topics down into bite-sized chunks and making it achievable for all!  Since moving most of my teaching online it's been eye opening to realise that most people learn better this way: working at their own pace and having more time to practise; but still getting time with the teacher to ask questions.

Sew helpful

Really loved Rose's course. I have recently changed my sewing room around and will now check and change the heights of my 3 stations and chair. Neck and shoulder pain is an issue for me when sewing. Probably from 35 years of sitting at desks at the wrong height!!! I am so pleased to be able to do something to relieve this. Thank you so much Rose for your time and to Jo for commissioning this course. Well done.
